17.53 million will be invested in ski center Zarski
Ski Center Zarski will be built in Mojkovac, for which 17.53 million euros have been set aside. So far, the funds in the amount of 10.7 million have been realized, while the remaining funds in the amount of 6.8 million euros will be paid out after the financial conditions are created. It is planned to complete all contracted works by the end of 2024.
The Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism stated that the project Ski Center Zarski will be implemented in two phases. The first phase includes works on the construction of road infrastructure with parking, base station, primary electricity network, ski lift, hydraulic and telecommunications infrastructure, three kilometres of ski trails and the purchase of necessary machinery and equipment. The second phase includes snowmaking work on the trail.
The project represents a great potential for the development of rural and winter tourism. It is especially important because it is planned to connect it with the Ski Center Cmiljaca, which belongs to the Municipality of Bijelo Polje. The realization of such projects will enable young people to stay and live in the north, and local farmers will also benefit from it.
