More than 60 million euros were invoiced through electronic fiscalization
Electronic fiscalization has started on January 1. The economic entities that are not yet ready for the new digital system have a transitional deadline for adaptation until July 1.
So far, 1.3 million accounts with a turnover of over 60 million euros have been reported through the electronic fiscalization system.
Over 350 businesses who operate in endangered activities have switched to the system of electronic fiscalization, and are therefore candidates for financial support provided by the Government in order to help the economy.
The criteria on the basis of which the right to financial support will be checked are such that all obligations due for payment by September 30 last year must be settled or the instalments under the reprogram must be paid regularly. The deadline set in accordance with the Law on Fiscalization for businesses to start recording turnover through electronic fiscalization is June 1. For all those persons who do not harmonize their operations in accordance with the above provisions, the Law stipulates fines of up to 40 thousand EUR, depending on the type of organization of companies or taxpayers or a ban on doing business for up to 90 days or eliminating irregularities.
