Turnover on the Montenegro Stock Exchange jumped for 60%
The total turnover on the Montenegro Stock Exchange for the first nine months amounted to 34.1 million euros and was 60 percent higher than in the same period last year, while the average daily turnover for the first nine months amounted to 185.36 thousand euros.
In the past 184 trading days, 1.26 thousand transactions were concluded, 11 percent less compared to the same period last year.
In the structure of turnover for the first nine months, the largest share, of about 59 percent, was achieved with ordinary shares of companies, followed by government and corporate bonds, about 34 percent.
In the structure of concluded deals on the stock exchange, about 93 percent referred to trading in ordinary shares of companies, while PIFs participated in the total number of deals with about four percent.
Index MNSE10 rose 11.57 percent in nine months and had a value of 795.3 points at the end of September. MONEX recorded a growth of 9.54 percent to 11,314.4 points.
The total market capitalization of shares on the last day of September amounted to 3.2 billion euros and was 3.11 percent lower compared to the same period last year.
